Summer 2025 Teen Camps for Ages 13-16

Teen Camp Summer Studio Intensive:
Drawing, Painting, & Mixed Media
July 14-18, 2025, M-F, 10AM-3PM
Enrollment Fees: Tuition is $225 (art supplies included!)
Ages: 13-16
Camp Capacity: 15 Students per class
Deep in the Art of Texas: Lone Star Landscapes (M-F, 10AM-12PM)
After an introduction to the history and broad stylistic range of landscape painting in Texas, campers will create their own compositions inspired by the state’s diverse geographic regions from the piney woods of East Texas to Big Bend National Park in the West, and its plethora of iconic locations and landmarks. Source materials will be provided; teens are also welcome to bring photos, etc.

Face Time: A Focus on Portraiture (M-F, 1PM-3PM)
Teens will explore styles of portraiture, including self-portaiture, through the ages, ranging from classical to abstract and more. By looking at artists such as Van Gogh, Rembrandt, Picasso, Lichtenstein, Warhol, Kehinde Wiley, and others, participants will be inspired to create their own series of portraits.

Scholarships
A limited number of scholarships are available for IAC Summer Art Adventures camps. Scholarships are awarded for one camp per recipient.
The deadline for priority consideration of scholarship applications for the 2025 Summer KidsArts program is May 12, 2025 (postmarked, hand-delivered or by email). Applications received after this date will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and will be made based on availability. The last day to receive applictions is July 7, 2025.
