The Art of Geometry
Artists from Leonardo da Vinci to masters of the modern era, such as Wassily Kandinsky, Piet Mondrian and Frank Stella have utilized the principles of  geometry to compose works of balance and symmetry as well as complexity, use forms and patterns as mystic symbols, create perspective (the illusion of depth three dimensionality) and make abstract art focused on color and shapes.  Learn about them and make your own geometric art using tools such as compasses, protractors, triangles and rulers.
