Happy New Year! The results for the 32nd Annual Tree Decorating Competition are in!

This year for the first time we are awarding first, second and third place amongst three different categories:  Schools/School Groups; Arts & Culture Groups; and Non-Profits / Service Organizations. 

Bowie Middle School Parent Center is the winner of the 32nd Annual Tree Decorating Competition in the Schools/School Group Category with 189 votes via Facebook, Instagram and in-person voting. In second place with 142 votes is Irving ISD Libraries.  And in third place, we have a tie with 99 votes each for the National Art Honor Society at Singley Academy and StoneGate Christian Academy.    

The Turf Turners Garden Club is the winner of the 32nd Annual Tree Decorating Competition in the Arts & Culture Group with 63 votes via Facebook, Instagram and in-person voting. In second place with 55 votes is the Friends of the Irving Museums.  And in third place, with 31 votes is the Irving Symphonic Band.      

The DFW Humane Society is the winner of the 32nd Annual Tree Decorating Competition in the Non-profits/Service Organizations Category with 49 votes via Facebook, Instagram and in-person voting. In second place with 40 votes is the Girl Scouts Troop 1810/6458.  And in third place, with 28 votes is the Irving Public Library.
