Wizard of Oz, Presented by Momentum Dance Company

Momentum Dance Company, under the artistic direction of Christina Pillion, presents, “Wizard of Oz” as a ballet production. When a Kansas tornado transports Dorothy and her dog, Toto, to the magical land of Oz, they embark on a journey of self-discovery in order to find their way home. They follow the Yellow Brick Road to Emerald City to meet the Wizard, and along the way they meet the Scarecrow, who wants a brain, the Tin Man who is missing a heart, and the Cowardly Lion who would like to find some courage. The Wizard demands they bring him the broom of the Wicked Witch of the West to earn his help. As the new friends band together to complete this task and receive their wishes, they learn to look for strength within themselves and the value of good friends.
