Oct. 13– Sculpt It!
Enjoy an awesome exploration of the 3rd dimension by making your own sculptural creations with clay, cardboard, and other materials.

Celebrate the life and work of American artist, Georgia O’Keeffe (November 15, 1887 – March 6, 1986) with art making activities inspired by her iconic flowers.

Jan. 12 – Lunar New Year: Year of the Snake
In celebration of the 2025 Lunar New Year (January 29), we’ll learn about the animals of the Chinese zodiac and create art inspired by Lunar New Year traditions.
Feb. 2 – Celebrating Black History Month
Let’s celebrate Black History Month by making art inspired by African American artists, past and present.

March 9 – Playing with Patterns
Let’s celebrate National Quilting Month! Join us for quilt-inspired art-making activities led by members of the Irving Quilt Guild.

Celebrate Earth Month with arts & crafts activities inspired by nature’s beauty and learning about positive actions we can take to honor and protect our planet.

June 8–The Wright Stuff
Design some seriously astounding structures as we celebrate the birthday of the great American architect, Frank Lloyd Wright (June 8, 1867 – April 9, 1959).
July 13 – At the Beach
It’s summer! Dive into seaside and beach-themed art activities!
August 10 – Print It!
Learn basic printmaking techniques and create multiple designs and images on cloth and paper.
Sept. 14 – Called to Create: Exploring Folk Art & Outsider Art
Inspired by the artists featured in the Arts Center’s exhibition Rooted Visions, transform found objects and ordinary materials into extraordinary works of art that tell your own story.
