Diya is a high school senior at The Hockaday School in Dallas, and an active volunteer at Irving Arts Center, where she serves as a Teen Ambassador She describes herself as an intersectional feminist, Indian immigrant dedicated to sparking change in the world through her visual art and advocacy. Her artwork reflects her sense of identity as an Indian-American, and is inspired by social issues such as voter, immigrant, racial, and gender equality.
