Please join us November 17 for a sneak peek of a new movie entitled “My Dear” written and produced by former Dallas Cowboy, Greg Ellis. This film tells the story through the eyes of a married professional football player and his daughter, Lilly. In “My Dear” the negative outcomes of untreated mental health issues are revealed as an All-American family’s life is turned upside down and inside out. A trailer for the film can be found below and more information on the film is available at MyDearTheMovie.com.
The night also will include the launch of a new mental health awareness movement, entitled I AM GETTING MY HELP. The accompanying mental health website can be accessed at Gettingmyhelp.com. It offers resources and sharable video content including testimonials by individuals sharing their personal bouts with mental health issues.
All proceeds from this event will be used to continue to bring awareness to mental health.
