Music that Dances presented by New Philharmonic Orchestra of Irving

It’s a breath of fresh air after a long winter – and it all begins at 2:45 p.m., as middle school mariachis -Travis’s “Los Linces” – serenade us in the lobby before the concert!  

Students from Irving high schools join the full orchestra “side by side” to welcome summer with Copland’s An Outdoor Overture, Bartok’s Romanian Folk Dances, Dvorak’s Slavonic Dances, Wagner’s Overture to The Flying Dutchman, and Sibelius’ Finlandia.
