Irving Black Arts Council presents their annual black history program. Experience a journey through black history, celebrating resilience, love, family and artistry. The program includes the USPS Black Heritage Month stamp unveiling and a featured presentation by Janet Forney, “A Poetic Journey through Time” inspired by the stories and poetry of literary icons from the Harlem Renaissance and beyond.
The event is free to attend. No RSVP or ticket necessary.
