Happy New Year! The results for the 31st Annual Holiday Tree Decorating Competition are in!

This year we registered a whopping 2,536 of likes/loves/votes from Facebook, Instagram and via in-person QR Code voting.

The winner of the 31st Annual Tree Decorating Competition with 683 total votes is BOWIE MIDDLE SCHOOL PARENT CENTER.

Bowie’s winning tree was decorated with ornaments made from 100 percent recycled materials; lights including candles to represent the Star of Bethlehem; A Menorah to symbolize the Festival of Lights for Hanukkah; and a Kinara commemorating the Seven Principles of Kwanza. They recorded 320 likes/loves on Facebook,108 likes/loves on Instagram, and another 235 votes via the in-person QR Code voting to give them their winning grand total of 683.

In second place with 599 total votes is HOLY FAMILY CATHOLIC ACADEMY.

In third place with 286 total votes is THE SINGLEY ACADEMY NATIONAL ART HONOR SOCIETY & THESPIAN CLUB.
