Happy New Year! The results for the 30th Annual Tree Decorating Competition are in!
This year we registered a record number of likes/loves/votes from Facebook, Instagram and via in-person QR Code voting. In total 3,359 people votes were recorded.
The winner of the 30th Annual Tree Decorating Competition with 637 total votes is NIMITZ HIGH SCHOOL PARENT CENTER.
Nimitz’s winning tree was decorated with 100 percent recycled materials, with ornaments representing the tremendous variety of animal life found on Earth, in keeping with the theme of the competition: A Christmas Carnival of Animals. They recorded 324 likes/loves on Facebook, 262 likes/loves on Instagram, and another 51 votes via the in-person QR Code voting to give them their winning grand total of 637.
In second place with 507 total votes is the STONEGATE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY BAND.
In third place with 484 total votes is THE WARREN CENTER.
Just missing a top-three finish but with impressive voting totals were The Alliance Collaboration (All Things Made New, Crisis Ministries, The Main Place) with 391 votes and Lorenzo de Zavala Middle School with 315 votes.
