Jene Gravley studied with Mary Totten Johnson in the 1940s and 1950s, then painted on and off for the next half century while juggling career and family. After retirement she began devoting more and more time to painting. Ms. Gravley paints in oils, doing portraits, still life’s and landscape. She uses digital photography for reference and then composes and sketches in PhotoShop.
